Sometimes God says, "Do the thing you don't wanna do."
---
do you know what the word "頑張って" means? It's a common expression that often gets translated as 'good luck' but what it really means is, 'do your best.' There is a very important difference in meaning here. The former implies that the outcome isn't up to you, that it's out of your hands. 頑張って stresses the contribution of the participant. It is an exhortation, an imperative, a petition. "Ganbatte ne." Do. Your. Best.
That's all there is to it. Simple as that.

Who's theme
Take me away
to where you are
I'll become the wind
and hold my breath
Take me with you
where have you gone?
Time passes and my heart unravels
The days waver in their silence
so white and far away
aimless and wandering
memories unravel
the fragrant sunflower holds on to its petals
they're in no hurry
Tell me
to know everything makes me uneasy
and yet why do I want to know
trembling thoughts and feelings
Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter play their song
journeying to tomorrow
they start to pile up
and before I know it, I'm with you
till the end of my dreaming
